Product Overview

Ivy Geranium 'Pink Dust’

The original plant cuttings were given to me by a friend and I was informed that it was the result of a cross pollination between two other plants. These are called 'sports' and are naturally occurring hybrids. Therefore it has no official name and I have 'unofficially' named it 'Pink Dust'. The reason I have named it this is due to the delicate pink shade over what looks like a white based petal, or it just looks like it's a white flower that has been coated in 'pink fairy dust'. With such a magical shade of pink I can think of no better name to give it.

I have been waiting eagerly for a while to list this beauty in store and I am pleased to say it will soon become available as the parent plants have become big and strong enough to start propagating. The flower pictures shown are from the my own 3rd generation cuttings so I know that the plant is true to form of the original plants given to me. Sometimes hybrids can fall back to the colour of the original plants pollinated from, and it is said that it needs 3 generations to prove their true colour form. I can safely say that these have proven themselves to be stable and will soon be available.
